We currently require experienced Bulk Earthworks Foreman to run areas on the Coopernook to Herons Creek Alliance, on the mid north coast of NSW. Located about 30 mins north of Taree and 30 mins south of Port Macquarie, there is 32.8 kilometres of dual carriage way freeway to construct.
Construction Experience
Experience with a large contractor on infrastructure projects (e.g. 100M+) is highly desirable however experience on smaller projects may be suitable. However, candidates must have demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:

Construction has begun; we are now looking to expand our Earthworks team. Ideally we are seeking experienced Foreman with a background of running fleets of scrapers, managing a D10 or D11 dozers, working with dump trucks between 40 � 50 tonne and managing an 80 tonne excavator. We have 3-400,000 cubic metres of fill to move through this particular bypass area.

� Experience with any of the following first tier contracting companies would be considered because they generally do road projects. Companies such as ABI Group, Leightons, Laing ORouke, Baulderstone, John Holland�s, Fletchers, Barclay Mowlem. Other companies: Daracon, Reed Construction, Nace, McConnell Dowell.

Short experience (e.g. less than 5 years) in public sector (e.g. local councils) would also be considered.

Essential

Candidates must be prepared to relocate to the Mid North Coast for all positions which are site based.
Have two contactable reference checks available for the HR team

As we have the majority of our design team we are not looking for candidates with Designers e.g. Parsons Brinkerhoff / GHD / Maunsell etc or those with MX Design experience or design technology program modules. We need guys who like project based field construction work.

Our Client is looking for an experienced Engineering Designer for there Infrastructure Services Division.

Key Objectives

To prepare civil designs in accordance with industry quality standards.
To provide through design outcomes minimal impacts on the environment.
To enhance visual amenity through Good design

Essential Criteria

Able to demonstrate experience in Civil Engineering Design for public infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to prepare roadwork design
Demonstrated computer literacy with standard design software (12D,Auto cad,Drains)
Current class C Drivers Licence.
Well developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and deliver projects within agreed time frames.

Essential

Demonstrated working knowledge of all relevant standards and procedures such as RTA, Austroads, Motor Traffic Act and Regulations etc.
Experience in the use of various traffic engineering analytical techniques, to allow the development of effective and cost-efficient concept plans for a variety of transport related issues.
Experience in a diverse range of transport/traffic issues in a growth environment is preferred, with the experience to include pedestrian and cyclist planning as well as for motor vehicles.
Current Class C Drivers Licence.
Strong Computer literacy with high level proficiency in Word, Excel and GIS.

Desirable

Degree in Engineering - suitable for membership of the institution of Engineers Australia or an Associate Degree or Bachelor Technology is desirable.
Post Graduate qualifications in the broad areas of Transport/Traffic Engineering would be highly regarded.
Advanced computer literacy skills, including skills associated with the use of SIDRA and GIS and the use/interpretation of traffic modelling packages.
Proven background and skills in successful resource and staff management, job estimating and supervision of contracts.
